It seems to me to be leaves falling close to the lens of the camera. The only argument is that you do not see leaves in the background. I am wondering if the camera is strapped to a green ash tree? The little "helicopters" that are fruit look very similar to these objects and start falling off of the tree in fall and winter.
I like the two camera setup, I always wonder why no one ever does this!

Looks like drops of water to me. Nor sayign that is what they are, but that could be one of the explanations.
